In-House Solicitor

Part Time and Full Time candidates will be considered for this role.

We are currently seeking a lawyer with 2+ years PQE and experience in IP and/or media law to join our clients' IP team based in their Cambridge office.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied caseload of work, and should have significant experience in advising on IP, copyright and/or content acquisition contracts, ideally in a media business, and regulatory matters.
You will manage a broad range of non-contentious work, and will be skilled in contract review, drafting and negotiation.
Reporting to the Senior Counsel, you will be a key member of the team ensuring that the business has the necessary legal advice, documents, policies and training for its teams worldwide. 
You will provide timely and effective legal support, ensuring that dealings with all clients are fair, supporting the brand and mission, and complying with relevant laws. You will also support and advise colleagues in our IP Programme team, who are developing new technologies and best practices.
Along with proven legal skills, you will be a strong communicator with a collaborative and supportive approach, providing expert guidance in a way which enables the team to achieve their objectives.
