Corporate Solicitor needed to join this leading regional firm as part of their expansion plans. Great opportunity with salary offering up to £65,000 depending on experience.

Are you an experienced Corporate/Commercial Solicitor looking for an exciting position to help support the growth of a Company and Commercial Team in Surrey? This is one of Surrey's most historic firms and has roots across the whole of the county spanning into London.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a really busy and flourishing office in Surrey. You will also have the chance to handle a mixed portfolio of Corporate and Commercial matters.

The firm's Corporate/Commercial department deal with a diverse range of matters including starting and managing a business, buying, selling or restructuring a business, e-Commerce and Internet/IT law and intellectual property. The role will involve running a variety of matters in the Godalming office. This is an exciting opportunity to build the department in this office, with support from the Dorking office.

The Requirements

• You will be an experienced Corporate/Commercial Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE
• You will be confident in running your own caseload in a busy and successful department
• The caseload will include but not be limited to; undertaking due diligence and drafting due diligence reports, undertaking disclosure and drafting/negotiating disclosure letters, drafting ancillary corporate transactional documentation, drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements for smaller transactions and drafting shareholder agreements, option agreements and articles of association
• The role has arisen due to expansion of the department.
• You will have strong numeracy and literacy skills and excellent IT skills
• This role will be based in Dorking.
• You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
• Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on experience
