IP & Technology Disputes, min 2 yrs PQE
Intellectual Property & Technology Disputes Solicitor, min 2 yrs PQE, required by a high profile niche City law firm who work in sectors with a high dependency on technology, such as digital media, e-commerce, financial services, professional services, retail, travel and healthcare.
The role offers good variety by nature of the work the team does, as well as opportunities to get involved in firm wide initiatives. Principle work areas include:
- IT disputes, including IT procurement and outsourcing disputes and renegotiation of distressed technology projects
- Other contractual disputes, including breach assessment and damages claims
Candidates will need to have solid experience with a commercial law firm, with a preference for those from highly regarded IP & IT disputes practices. They should have a real interest in developing their industry and legal knowledge as well as relevant sector experience in the technology, digital media and telecoms businesses, in particular.
Preferably with knowledge and experience of considering intellectual property issues relating to technology in its multiple forms.
