Legal Counsel, EMEA

Your new company
A leading financial services company, which is also one of the leaders in its sector. The company aspires to develop further and continue to increase its market share. The company has three business lines and this role will work at the group level.

Your new role
This role is supporting the businesses EMEA operations on a variety legal matters. This will include you working with stakeholders, and functions throughout the business. The role is a broad one, though the main focus will involve drafting and interpreting commercial contracts and company law. You will also work on subscription/licensing matters, regulatory matters, M&A, as well finance matters, such as structured finance and debt capital markets.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor with 5-7 PQE (as a guide only). You will have experience of working on complex projects. You will have worked in a broad role previously, working on different practice areas interchangeably. For this role, you must have strong commercial contracts skills, and one of the following: debt capital markets, structured finance, project finance, litigation.
