Part-Time 12-month contract for senior Employment Lawyer
We are working with a silver-circle law firm in their search for an experienced employment lawyer to join them on a part-time basis (3 days a week) for a period of 12 months. The role will be due to start in the next couple of months with interviews taking place imminently.
The employment team are highly ranked and particularly experienced in handling complex and sensitive issues for their clients. They advise across a broad range of sectors with notably strong practices in financial services and partnerships - advising on large corporate transactions, complex advisory matters and business-critical issues. They regularly advise clients on: discrimination at work; HR issues; employee terminations; employment litigation and disputes; partner/member disputes; restrictive covenants and team moves; TUPE and corporate restructuring and redundancies.
The successful candidate will be joining a highly ranked and established team with a strong support network and will be handling a full case-load as part of a job-share arrangement. The caseload will comprise of a mix of non-contentious advisory work; employment law support on wider transactions and employment tribunals.
You will be:
- A senior Employment Lawyer from a leading city practice who is looking to work on a part-time basis for a contract of 12 months in duration.
- Confident communicator.
- Experienced in advising corporate clients.
- Pragmatic, prudent and able to provide a high standard of legal advice.
