The firm are looking for a driven lawyer to join a highly regarded Construction team based in Manchester City Centre. This position is with a top tier, heavyweight US law firm. They have a full service offering and a stronghold in areas such as Corporate, Litigation & Arbitration, Sports & Entertainment, Infrastructure, Life Science, Brand Products, Aerospace and Transport.

With 1500 lawyers across 20 countries, they pride themselves on the outstanding service the give to their clients and the unrivalled support they give to their lawyers.


The Role


The firm's Construction group are widely recognised as leaders in their field and now they are looking for a motivated Solicitor 1 - 4 years PQE to join them.


The team operate across a range of jurisdictions, advising clients on all aspects of construction projects including inception and procurement and standard forms of UK contracts such as NEC4, JCT and international FIDIC and EPC contracts.


The role will involve gaining exposure to a broad range of high quality work at junior level, alongside an experienced team who can ensure you have the best support to develop your career.


Requirements

  • Experience as a Construction Solicitor 1 - 4 years PQE
  • Must have good academic background
  • You will need to be self-motivated, confident and have fantastic people skills
  • Must be qualified in England & Wales as a Solicitor and currently practising at a private practice law firm in the UK.
  • A competitive salary and strong benefits package (including a great pension) are on offer to the successful candidate
