This is an expanding London office of a successful and profitable national law firm, with a strong strategy and management team in place - this firm has big plans and is definitely one to watch. Aiming to shortly be in the Top 20-30 this is a real rising star.
With an established corporate team nationally, the corporate offering in London is growing, following some strategic hires. A mid-level corporate lawyer is sought by the team to help support the partners with running deals and supporting more junior members of the team. There is also an opportunity to get involved in marketing and client development. The firm has a huge network across the UK, US, Middle East and Europe and there are plenty of opportunities to tap into a very warm client base.
You will work on predominantly private M&A deals and there is also some ECM and private equity work. They work across a wide range of sectors though have some focus in TMT, Retail, Real Estate, Hospitality and Hotels.
If you are a corporate M&A lawyer who is working in big deal teams, with no prospect of getting noticed, or you are working for a smaller firm looking to make a step up, this firm offers an excellent opportunity to take on as much responsibility as you are ready for. You will just need to be commercially driven, with an entrepreneurial approach to the work you do. They have a very sensible approach to work/life balance and encourage agile/ flexible working. In fact, if you have taken some time out and are looking to return to an environment where you can have more control over your hours, this team would like to speak to you.
