My client is a top tier financial institution looking to hire an ISDA negotiator in a permanent position.
The purpose of the role is to act as a senior negotiator performing negotiations of Master Trading Netting Agreements with the Bank’s counterparties, directly contributing to the Bank’s efficient use of capital.
Key responsibilities include -
- Negotiate and execute master trading agreements, including ISDAs, GMRAs, GMSLAs as well as ancillary documentation with clients in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures, and in an efficient and timely fashion.
- Performing quality checks on negotiations conducted by other negotiators prior to execution.
- Negotiation of (standalone and loan linked) master trading agreements with EME clients in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures, and in an efficient and timely fashion to further the Bank’s strategies.
A strong a candidate should have -
- Comprehensive understanding of each of master trading agreement, including their importance from a credit risk, market risk, operational risk and liquidity perspective.
- Comprehensive understanding of loan linked documentation.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Banks risk and control framework.
- Thorough understanding of collateral documentation and the balance sheet implications of the elections therein.
- Ideally french and/or Italian language skills.
