Corporate Counsel - Entertainment - PQE 2-3

One of the UK’s leading entertainment companies requires a Corporate Counsel to take the lead on transactional work, with responsibility for running the legal aspects of new investments by the group.

You will draft and negotiate principal documents; supervise paralegals and instruct and manage outside counsel; complete due diligence on investments and acquisitions; run the legal aspects of internal reorganisations; draft employment agreements; advise the leadership team re commercial and corporate relationships with third parties; review and draft distribution agreements in relation to content – to mention just a few of the responsibilities involved in this highly visible role.

To apply, you should have 2-3yrs PQE in the corporate dept. of a well-respected firm; and have first class drafting skills. You’ll jump to the head of the queue if you bring a good understanding of IP in the entertainment industry, and some employment law experience. In-house experience would be an advantage too, but is not a necessity.
