Job Details

Our client, a forward thinking top-flight law firm, is looking for a specialist IP lawyer to join their renowned international practice.

In this key role, working in a friendly partner led team of national renown, you will focus on handling a diverse range of complex IP matters covering both advisory and IP disputes work drawn from the UK and from Europe and further afield.

Whilst the focus of the role is likely to be on contentious work, there will be a strong platform to support the needs of the business in terms of non-contentious and advisory IP. The quality of the work is exceptional and the team is widely regarded as one of the leading lights when it comes to IP work nationally, working with household name clients across a number of sectors including Technology and Retail (where the firm has an exceptionally strong reputation.)

The firm's IP expertise is all encompassing, covering all aspects of intellectual property such as patent litigation, designs, copyright, trade marks, databases, passing off, brands, parallel importing, anti-counterfeiting, confidentiality, and media.

Ideally you will have gained experience in a City firm or large national / regional or other leading IP practice with proven technical legal skills and a commercial, client led approach. A minimum of 2 years pqe in IP is expected to be required for this position although the firm can be flexible and has the necessary resources to support those who are less (or more) qualified.

This is a great opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic IP lawyer to become part of an esteemed intellectual property practice. Career prospects are excellent.
