Formed only a few years ago and already enjoying sustained success, the legal team is growing and needs a lawyer with fluent business French to join the team in London.

What the Role Entails

As the third hire in a growing legal team, this is a mid-level position. Your primary responsibility will be to manage commercial contracts, particularly with advertising agencies and other partners, in both France and the UK. Data privacy is also key and whilst specialist support for this is already in place, an understanding of data privacy will need to be developed, as the nature of the business hinges on this. You will also advise on ad tech and support the business on the development of products and platforms.

The Type of Person We are Looking For

This is a role for a lawyer who is truly experienced in both French and UK contracts and contract law. You must be commercial in your approach, enterprising by nature and be prepared to roll your sleeves up and be involved with whatever this growing business needs.

This business is scaling quickly and the ability to be flexible and adaptable in your approach is key. You will work closely with the Head of Legal as well as the wider European business on a daily basis, answering ad hoc queries and managing risk. 

The Key Skills and Experience We Need

A strong commercial contracts and/or tech background is key, with Fluent business French being a fundamental requirement. You must be a business savvy lawyer who is comfortable working directly with the business
