Taylor Root has an exciting opportunity for someone to join a leading UK full service law firm. They are looking for a paralegal to join their busy Reading office within the professional regulatory team.
This is a great opportunity for a paralegal to join experienced partners, barristers and solicitors in a team that works effectively to deliver excellent client service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- undertaking a case investigator role, predominantly on behalf of national healthcare regulators such as the Nursing & Midwifery Council, General Dental Council, General Optical Council, and General Pharmaceutical Council.
- conducting witness interviews, drafting witness statements and obtaining/preparing all hearing documentation in accordance with a case plan
- attend expert conferences and some substantive fitness to practise hearings
- communicate extensively with witnesses, professional registrants, legal representatives and professional clients including the regulators' hearings managers
The successful candidate will ideally have experience gained within healthcare regulators and/or paralegal experience within clinical negligence. The individual should be well organised and used to working to tight timescales. This is a great opportunity to join a Legal 500 tier 1 ranked professional regulatory team whose client base continues to grow rapidly.
