Senior Restructuring Associate (5+ PQE) – Leading US Firm – Full NY Salary and Good Career Prospects

We are working on a new role for a senior Financial Restructuring Associate at this leading US firm in London.

The firm is well-established in the London market and is led by English-qualified Partners who have joined from Magic Circle, as well as other US and international City firms.

The Restructuring practice works on high-value, predominantly non-contentious financial restructuring transactions, advising bondholders and creditors as well as debtors and special situation investors.

The Partners have signed off on a rare senior-level role in the team, and are inviting applications from lawyers in the London market with at least 5 years of PQE. 

Candidates must be UK qualified, and it is preferable that they will be coming from a Magic Circle or elite US firm, with a strong track record of financial restructuring work.  More general banking lawyers with some exposure to restructuring work may also be of interest.

There are good career prospects for Associates joining at this level, as the firm does promote home-grown Partners in London. 

In addition, the firm is able to offer a salary package in line with the top of the market, which will be a significant uplift for Magic Circle lawyers and an increase from most other US firms in London as well.
