Senior Legal Consultant - Financial Services (3 days / week)

Unique opportunity for a Senior Lawyer to work part time, 3 days per week for a leading global financial services organisation on an initial 6 month contract. A highly competitive day rate is on offer.

You will report to the Senior VP & General Counsel acting in a broad role covering their European operations. This will include:

- supporting on general corporate legal affairs matters

- commercial contract negotiation, drafting and advice for their global business divisions

- data privacy and GDPR advisory

- providing regulatory advice and implementing any regulatory changes

- general legal advice concerning employment, disputes and other legal matters

This position is best suited to a senior lawyer, 8+ years PQE as a guide, trained at a reputable firm with experience in-house within the financial services sector. You will have a broad skillset covering commercial, corporate and regulatory advice, be able to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and be able to operate within a team based environment. Knowledge of ESMA Credit Rating Agency regulation and/or FCA CRA regulation would be highly advantageous.
