Job Details
We are seeking a legal counsel specialising in the technology sector for our client; a FTSE 150 organisation with an award-winning legal team. As a key member of the legal team, this role will partner closely with key stakeholders to provide legal advice, guidance and solutions in a commercially focussed and understandable way, and to ensure that all strategic, legal, and operational goals are met in accordance with the needs of the business and objectives of Group Legal.
Key accountabilities include, experience structuring, drafting and negotiating complex and /or high value and/or emerging technology deals in the technology space. These are likely to include; technical infrastructure and/or telecoms agreements in Europe, SAAS, hosting, AM and AD arrangements, Cloud, Software licenses, outsourcing, digital matters, provision of product advise with deep linking, tags, cookies, privacy and data implications as well as some of the following; IAAS, PAAS, open source, Machine Learning, AI, blockchain, data and cyber incident management.
The successful candidate will have at least five years PQE, with good academics including in data and privacy laws and training from reputable law firm or in-house team. If you have excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, we’d like to hear from you.
