Commercial Litigation PSL
The new PSL position is going to be a key position moving forward as disputes is very much a key area of focus for my client. The new joiner will play a key role in developing and building a market-leading professional knowledge team to support the well established and highly regarded fee earning element of the disputes practice.
The team will grow and develop the existing knowledge culture within the disputes group and the individual will liaise closely with other members of the existing members of the knowledge group. This will involve developing the firm's knowledge base and assisting in business development strategy and playing an active role in contributing and developing overall firm strategy moving forward as well. The new individual will be responsible for directly line managing individuals in the existing team and occupy a senior position within the dispute resolution knowledge group.
The dispute resolution group within the firm focuses on a full range of disputes including but not limited to commercial litigation, international arbitration, white collar crime, real estate disputes, contentious insolvency and financial regulatory disputes. Key responsibilities of the role will include contributing to updates on relevant changes in the law, producing and distributing regular key client updates, providing a high quality training programme and developing and maintaining an excellent range of precedent documents.
The firm has an exceptional work/life balance in comparison with high quality City practices of the same ilk, fosters a truly rewarding working environment (the firm has consistently been ranked as one of the best law firms to work for by a number of independent legal surveys) and offers a very competitive level of remuneration for the role. The PQE mentioned is only a guide. Anyone with the necessary skills to succeed may apply.
