Lead Privacy & Data Protection Counsel, London, Global IT Services

Our client, one of the world's most dynamic and exciting IT services & consulting organisations, requires an a senior privacy & data protection counsel to join it’s fast-growing legal team in central London.

This is a brand new role that will bring with it a lot of ‘creative licence’ and the opportunity for the individual to work on both internal (advisory) and external (transactional) cutting-edge and high quality privacy & DP work. As the organisations first dedicated UK-Based Privacy counsel, you will have a wide remit of exciting and challenging work and you will work very closely with the local DPO, DPM and colleagues across Europe and the world. You will have a minimum of 5 years+ PQE and will have extensive experience working on GDPR projects. The more experience, the better.

N.B. Please note that there is also a contract/interim opportunity as per this job description with our client, to be determined as a 6 month contract on a very competitive day rate. 

Ideally you will be a UK qualified lawyer, however our client is open to considering applications from lawyers qualified in other major European jurisdictions.
