SECURITIES, CAPITAL MARKETS, DERIVATIVES LAWYER - 9 MONTHS


We are currently working with an international bank in London who is looking to hire a Legal Counsel for a 9 month maternity cover contract.

The team primarily focus on issuing progamme securities documentation (including MTN, notes, warrants or certificates). The role involves advising on and supporting transaction execution in relation to securities issuance programmes. This may include complex interest rate, equity, currency, fund, commodity or credit-linked products. You will also support the wider team with regulatory, derivatives, or projects-specific work.

The ideal candidate will have excellent academics and have trained as a solicitor in a common law jurisdiction, ideally at a top UK or International law firm. You will have gained a minimum of 3 years' experience with strong derivatives and/or debt capital markets documentation. It would advantageous to have experience with structured securities, notes, warrants and certificates, listing of securities and related regulatory matters. Knowledge of ISDA definitions and equity derivative definitions would also be beneficial. You must be detail-orientated with excellent communication skills.
