A leading full-service UK supplier of medical equipment, with over 500 employees and a rich history spanning over 30 years. The company has over 11,000 customers across the UK, and its operation in Essex houses the bulk of the company's dedicated employees.

Your new role

A newly created Paralegal position reporting into the Finance Director. As part of a close-knit senior leader function, you will support legal aspects on an exciting internal project. Your work will include reviewing contracts such as supplier and customer contracts across three legal entities and be part of the creation of a contracts database. You will review regulatory requirements relating to transfer of assets. You will build relationships across the wider business, establishing yourself as an effective business person with legal skills. This will primarily be in relation to the transfer of trade and assets agreements and information requirements and diligence.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have paralegal experience ideally within smaller organisations or private equity companies where you are able to work autonomously. You must have commercial contracts and terms and conditions review experience. Ideally, you will have regulatory experience. You will need to be able to manage your own workload to deliver to the internal projects timeline. Additionally, you will possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to hit the ground running. As this is an interim position, you will need to be available on short notice.
