White Collar Crime Associate 2-5pqe
The team in which the role is based is a busy one that is growing not only in physical size but also in terms of the level and number of instructions they receive. The new joiner will get to work directly with both the head of the white collar crime practice within the firm, allowing for the opportunity to gain excellent first hand client exposure. There will also be the opportunity to work on primarily contentious (although there is scope for a small amount of non-contentious exposure should an associate wish to do this) financial regulatory matters as well as the two groups work in tandem within the hiring firm.
The desired candidate will have exposure included but not limited to working on FCA investigations, providing FCA approved person advice and FCA/PRA Remuneration Code matters. On the more 'pure' white collar crime side this will include SFO investigations and prosecutions, corporate investigatory work, sanctions exposure and matters involving the UK Bribery Act. There will also be some exposure to corporate crime matters involving health & Safety. Those that wish to be considered will have garnered this exposure at a leading private practice law firm in London or within an established regulator.
The firm offers a competitive work/life balance, exposure to a truly excellent quality of work and genuine long term progression opportunities. The PQE mentioned is only a guide. Anyone with the necessary skills to succeed may apply.
