Job Details
An expanding litigation team is seeking an ambitious and driven lawyer to join this reputable retail banking brand, popular on the high street.
Assisting with the complete remit of retail banking litigation matters, you will manage a varied portfolio as well as disputes relating to wider banking issues, operational issues and third-party supplier contracts. The mitigation of risk is paramount, with consideration of financial crime, regulatory, conduct and reputational risk matters, as you deliver legal advice in a simple, personal and straight forward way. You will be required to work on both volume litigation as well as complex larger scale matters. You will regularly liaise with the group and corporate banking litigation teams and work closely with senior management around the business.
Litigators with a thorough understanding of retail banking will be most suitable for this position but those with transferable skills and an interest in the financial services sector will also be considered.
