Aviation insurance litigation - NQ-1 Leading international firm

Our client is a fast-growing and very highly regarded international law firm. They are renowned for their market-leading insurance litigation practice.

Their specialist aviation group is an important part of the firm. Due to a consistently busy case load, they are now looking for an additional junior Associate (0-1 PQE).

If you join them, you will help insurance companies and insureds defend a range of often multijurisdictional aviation-related insurance claims, including those involving airlines, airports, cargo, hull claims, personal injury, major accidents, and insurance coverage issues. You'll also have exposure to reinsurance and subrogated claims. This is a broad, interesting, and meaty caseload, operating at the top of the practice for this kind of work.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have:

• Strong academics and a genuine interest in aviation insurance litigation (in all its many forms);
• Trained and recently qualified at a well-regarded international, City, or regional firm and ideally have been retained at that firm;
• Aviation industry experience whether by way of secondment or pre-training contract paralegal work is sought after. The hiring partner is ideally looking for somebody with a deep understanding of the aviation industry.
• Language skills - particularly Arabic or Spanish would be very highly regarded
• While this is a defence insurance-focused role; high quality candidates with primarily relevant claimant experience will also be considered.
