In-House Litigation Paralegal Role

A rare opportunity has arisen in-house for a paralegal with experience in debt recovery and/or property law matters to join a very friendly and collaborative legal team.  

On a day to day basis, the successful candidate will be involved in the following duties:
·    Working with different areas of the business (Credit Control/Finance) on debt recovery matters.
·    Assisting with the day to day admin needs of the office and reception duties front of house. 
·    Assisting with larger litigation matters when needed, working alongside our Group Dispute Resolution lawyer.
·    Drafting key property related documents relating to subleases including Notices for Exclusion of Tenure, Letters of Consent, SDLT returns and Land Registry applications. 

The opportunity would be excellent for a  paralegal who has gained some experience in private practice but is eager to enjoy the in-house exposure to develop more variety in areas of law, responsibility and commercial awareness.  The company prides themselves in being a people's business which involves investing in their development through a range of internal schemes and training.  As a consequence, the legal team are extremely supportive, friendly and approachable as well as consisting of high calibre lawyers. 

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant legal experience gained in private practice or in-house either in the UK or a foreign jurisdiction, and have strong communication and people skills.
