Funds/Financial Services Lawyer required for Global Financial Services Business, Dublin 3 years+

A well-established, stable and successful global financial services business is currently going through a significant growth phase.  

Our client focuses on global fund administration and custody.  To support this growth we are now looking for a lawyer to join the Dublin based legal team, working alongside the London team and supporting the Head of Legal - Europe.  This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Head of Legal

This is a varied role centred around depositary; overseeing funds managers activities and safeguarding the assets of the authorised funds.  You will also be involved in other in-house legal work such as drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of fund administration documents; general commercial contracts, many of which have an IT slant to them; as well as custody agreements; and other day-day in-house work to assist the general running of the business.

We are therefore looking for:

• A qualified lawyer (UK or Commonwealth qualified lawyers will be considered);
• We are open to junior up to senior lawyers, but you must have a minimum of 3 years' strong experience in funds and/or custody;
• Depositary experience would be very useful of course, but we realise this is a very niche skill set to look for.

You may come from a top financial services/funds law firm or already be in-house either in Ireland or other Commonwealth jurisdiction.  As depositary is a technical and challenging area of the law, you must be someone who is intellectually curious, and has the gravitas and communication skills to work with senior management across the business and convey advice effectively.

You must be able to hit the ground running and thrive in working in a growing and fast-paced business.
