The focus of the role is to provide legal, advisory and transaction execution support to Global Markets and ALM Treasury in relation to the use of the securities issuance programmes and third party programmes in order to help them achieve their business objectives whilst minimising legal and documentation risk.

Key responsibilities include-

  • Preparation of programme securities issuance documentation to a high standard for part of the workload.
  • Management of the closing process in respect of 1 above.
  • Advisory support (in general and in respect of particular specialisms) to the MTN Desk and  ALM Treasury and all business areas globally that wish to issue programme securities.

A strong candidate should have a Minimum 5 year’s post qualification experience from a major international law firm or equivalent in a top tier investment bank working on derivatives and/or debt capital markets documentation. Particularly experience of structured securities (especially complex interest rate, equity, commodity, currency, fund, or credit linked products), notes, warrants and certificates, listing of securities and the related regulatory issues would be beneficial.
