The Role

The Banking practice sits within the wider Finance group. The team are looking for a Banking Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE.

You will be experienced in General Banking already, or any of the following areas and wishing to diversify: Real Estate Finance, Acquisition Finance, Leveraged Finance, Syndicated lending or Specialist Energy Financing.

The role will include some work related to energy projects, but you will not be pigeon holed. There will be a very broad mix of general banking and finance matters to work on including leveraged and acquisition finance, private M&A, real estate finance and corporate lending in a high quality but supportive working atmosphere. This role would also be a great opportunity for solicitors looking to do some Corporate M&A.

There is a lot of cross over in the Banking & Finance departments as is shown in the breadth of the role above, plus they offer a fantastic training environment and actively encourage their team members to broaden their expertise. The firm feel it is proven to give junior-mid level solicitors a really good grounding for future promotions.

Requirements

  • Banking Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE.
  • Qualified in England & Wales
  • Desire to work in a growing, entrepreneurial team.
  • Strong academics and commercially minded.
  • Organised and able to prioritise a demanding workload working to strict deadlines.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a collaborative and cooperative approach with the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels.
