Our Client, a Media, Sport and Entertainment law practice based in London, is offering a very rare opportunity for a mid-level Corporate Layer to join their growing team.

Broadly, the firm are one of the most recognised and well regarded within the media, entertainment and sport sectors. They represent very high-profile individuals and companies, examples being professional athletes, well known music artists, record labels, media organisations and numerous sporting bodies. As well as Corporate and Commercial work, they also specialise in IP, Branding and Reputation Management, many of their lawyers coming from Magic Circle and Top Tier firms.

The Corporate Team advise corporates, start-ups, technology companies, shareholders and investors on a wide range of matter, including; Business structuring; Company incorporation; Investment and financing; Joint venture, shareholder, partnership and LLP arrangements; The buying and selling of businesses; and Catalogue sales.

As the successful candidate will have a broad corporate background. Essential to this role is the ability to work well under pressure, whilst providing a first class, impeccable service to many high-profile individuals. The ability to deal with clients face to face is a must, so previous experience of this also an essential element of this role. Whilst it would be advantageous to have the sector experience, this is not a specific requirement as relevant training will be given.

Another unique aspect of this opportunity is that whilst initially an Associate position is on offer, there would be a very fast track to Partnership for the right person.

  • The regional team works with law firms nationwide helping candidates at all levels move locally, regionally and into and out of London.
  • The in-house legal team recruits at all levels from trainee to general counsel for FTSE listed and privately owned companies, not for profit organisations and start-ups.
  • The company secretarial team is the official recruitment partner for the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. The team recruits for quoted and private companies, professional practices, not for profit organisations and banking and financial services institutions at all levels from trainee through to Company Secretary / Head of Governance.
