The Role
Their international Sports & Entertainment practice is widely recognised as having market leading experience in all areas of legal, commercial and regulatory issues within the Sports industry.
This is a large practice considering the area of law is quite niche and this role will offer the successful hire amazing opportunities to progress. The firm are very encouraging of development and are really stressing the need for someone ambitious making this a great time to be joining them.
The work will be primarily focused on contentious and regulatory matters sitting within the firm's wider Commercial Litigation department.
Within this role clients will include sports governing bodies, football clubs, players & agents, sport marketing agencies as well as owners and investors.
You will be skilled in drafting, applying and even challenging body rule and regulation and familiar with handling disciplinary matters, High Court litigation, adhoc Arbitration or Court of Arbitration for Sport.
There will also be investigatory and player transfer work, plus reputation management support.
Requirements
- Experience as a Sports Lawyer with 1-6 years PQE with significant experience in this sector.
- Must has solid matter management and sound Sports Law knowledge.
- Experience working with Sports industry clients will set you high above other applicants.
- Must be qualified in England & Wales as a Solicitor and currently practising at a private practice law firm in the UK.
