Data Privacy Lawyer

Data privacy specialist sought by market leading legal product. Flexible working role to suit a data privacy lawyer or PSL with 7pqe+ and a good understanding of the needs of in house lawyers in the banking and financial services arena.

The Role

To maintain and enhance a legal product covering data protection, bank secrecy and regulatory outsourcing rules. Day to day duties involve updating legal content, commissioning new content, liaising with key clients and supporting marketing initiatives.

Skills and Experience

This position would suit an experienced lawyer with experience of top quality work for high calibre clients (ideally in the banking and finance sector). This experience could have been gained in a leading private practice firm, in-house or as a professional support lawyer. You will require strong technical and drafting skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a pro-active approach. Cross border experience is of particular interest, especially in a data protection context.
