DEFENDANT INSURANCE LITIGATION - YORK NQ-10yrsPQE
Our client is a Legal 500 rated commercial firm with a substantial 'insurance division' which acts for insurer clients on a range of work from motor to EL/PL, industrial disease, health, regulatory, and public sector work. They are active in the market from pre-litigated claims through to multi-track matters and inquests, for regional insurers and also London sourced work.
Given a strong pipeline of work and confidence in their market they are looking to appoint a number of Solicitors to be based in central York, and they can accommodate candidates from NQ-10yrPQE dependant upon the strength of their expertise. The focus of the workload will be 'casualty', be that EL or PL, all defendant matters. More junior lawyers will be given early responsibility on FastTrack work and will assist more experienced colleagues on MultiTrack cases, whereas more experienced lawyers can be brought in to focus on catastrophic and complex work from the outset. Suitable applicants must be coming from Defendant backgrounds, and will have good communication skills and enthusiasm for a career in the insurance sector.
This is a very progressively managed firm with a good reputation as an employer, and the office location is excellent for a candidate looking for a role in an attractive part of the UK yet within easy reach of Leeds. Remuneration will be competitive.
Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
