My client is a market leading organisation in its sector with a small but integral legal department based in the centre of its operational hub. It's a relatively newly established legal function and requires a commercial property lawyer to complement the team, offering a caseload which would suit someone with at least 5 years PQE who was seeking 3-4 days a week

Reporting into the Head of Legal UK&I, you will assist in the management of an exciting and unique aviation property portfolio and you will need to advise on lease, licence and concession agreements which match operational requirements, on functional and flexible occupational terms, deal with licence for alterations, dilapidation settlement agreements, manage any SDLT liability and other ad-hoc general property matters.

You'll provide practical, commercial, legal advice on a wide range of commercial property issues including, interpreting leases, advising on disputes, progressing lease renewals and surrenders, licences, rent review memoranda and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and completing registrations. In addition you will liaise with & instruct external surveyors as well as completing title check & SDLT submissions.

Offering flexibility in relation to work patterns, this is a rare opportunity for a property lawyer to work In-house in a new position within an expanding legal function.
