I am working with the lead partner of a City-based Data Breach and Cyber Security team, which sits within an international firm, highly regarded in the litigation space. The team has made substantial progress since its inception several years ago, and is now looking to expand at all levels.
They are looking for response-focused litigators with some experience of or at least a demonstrable interest in cyber breach matters. You could come from a variety of sectors, including technology, general commercial, or insurance, as long as you are a disputes lawyer, ideally with some experience in contentious data protection or cyber security.
The team would like to meet the following:
- NQs who have completed at least one seat in litigation, and ideally one in data protection
- Junior to Mid associates who advise on a variety of disputes, but have started to work on data breach issues.
- Senior associates who are able to take the lead on breach cases. There would be a quick step up to partner as the team expands. If you do wider disputes work in addition to breach cases the firm would be happy to support you in maintaining your broader practice.
- Partners who have substantial experience in data breach and cyber security matters.
For new joiners the firm offers excellent work/life balance, agile and flexible working options, and a truly global platform. You will be working for a wide range of clients, from telecommunications companies to financial institutions, and will be at the forefront of the team's growth in a client-facing role. The firm is open to considering international applicants.
