Squire Patton Boggs' Pensions practice is one of the largest and most highly regarded in the UK legal market. Its multiple award-winning, 50-strong team is spread across four offices and services a client base of more than 500 funds with an asset value exceeding £300 billion. The practice benefits from being part of a larger global network of pensions and benefits experts, as well as the firm's strength in complementary service lines such as Corporate, Employment, Dispute Resolution, Tax and Financial Services. Equally adept at transactional or advisory work, the team has long enjoyed a reputation for innovation in the range of specialist practice niches it has pioneered, with the investment and de-risking areas being amongst the best examples.
As part of the practice's ongoing growth plans, the strategic decision has been taken to bring in an additional partner to join the London team. The successful candidate will be an established Pensions Partner with a recognised leading London Pensions practice and must be able to offer a blend of commercial and technical strength - to not only complement the existing team, but play a major role in its ongoing growth and development. A track record of effective business development and a well-developed network of professional connections will, therefore, be of paramount importance. Finally, the successful candidate will require a portable caseload to secure buy-in to the partnership; details will be available on application.
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly rated UK and globally ranked firm, and one of the industry's leading Pensions groups. We are conscious that this is a tight-knit area of the market so please apply in the strictest of confidence to Andrew Gartside, Director at IPS Pensions Legal Recruitment, either on 020 7481 8686 or at a.gartside@ipsgroup.co.uk
