Our client a leader in its sector is looking to recruit a Property In House Paralegal to join their legal team in Bradford.
The key responsibilities for the Property In House Paralegal role are as below
You will be assisting a fee earner on a varied caseload of lease extensions, enfranchisements, New Build purchases and sales, alongside progressing files to exchange and completion and carrying out administrative duties within conveyancing. You will be responsible for the setup of new files, including doing exchange and completion formalities. You will be processing Invoices, dealing with incoming post and dealing with telephone enquiries from customers, staff, and agents.
You will have experience of assisting on legal files and dealing with administrative conveyancing duties and an understanding of the conveyancing procedure. You will be confident in using the Land Registry Portal, completing Stamp Duty and able to do registrations are desirable. You will be IT literate with working knowledge of Word and Excel with excellent keyboard skills.
For the Property In House Paralegal role the candidates will need to be a work focused individual with a proactive and energetic approach and possess the ability to build strong relationships within the organisation. You will be able to work to deadlines, prioritise own workload effectively under pressure and manage conflicting priorities, whilst working to deadlines in a timely fashion. You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to progress tasks using own initiative, seeking guidance and input from others where appropriate.
