Your new role
This firm is seeking a Paralegal to join the industrial disease team based in London. This team have been at the forefront of group action for over 25 years, currently working on over 20 major group litigation cases across the UK. Successful candidates will gain exposure to various aspects of industrial disease, focusing on asbestos. Your main duties will include reviewing medical records and disclosure documents, preparing witness statements, helping out with funding (CFAs, insurance and public funding) and liaising with clients.
What you'll need to succeed
To qualify for this position, you must be educated to degree level (LLB, LLM and/or equivalent) and preferably have the LPC. You must have more than one years' experience working as a paralegal in a commercial environment, preferably in industrial disease and asbestos. It is preferable that you have excellent knowledge of the related practise area and must have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
