Corporate Partner or Team - Strategic Succession Role - London
We are mandated by a well-regarded small/medium firm in central London which has a long history and formidable reputation in acting for an established and loyal clientele of SMEs and UHNW individuals. We have a mandate to speak with suitable lawyers on this key part of their long-term strategic planning, being the hire of a high-calibre Corporate Partner or Team.
Within the firm there is currently one partner who advises on corporate (and commercial) work together with assistants, as well as a number of other partners who carry out some work in this area. The team carries out a broad and interesting range of work including M&A, refinancings, JVs, structuring of companies, as well as general commercial contract matters.
You will be a Corporate or Corporate/Commercial lawyer in a Partner (or similar) role, together with a proven background and aptitude in client generation and retention. Whilst there will naturally be work to be given by the firm, particularly over the longer-term with succession planning in mind, it would be expected that any applicant has a certain level of business to bring with them.
