Assistant Company Secretary, FTSE 100 Consumer Brands Business
About the Company
Our client is a leading FTSE 100 business in the consumer goods sector headquartered in Central London.
An opportunity now exists for an assistant company secretary to join the team (the company secretarial function in the company is four people in total.) As a critical member of the company secretarial function, you will play a key role in the practical delivery of the company secretarial function, ensuring the company meets its requirements.
You will also act as secretary to senior Boards and Committees, prepare stock exchange announcements and produce shareholder documentation. You will work closely with the wider business, providing advice and assistance on corporate, governance and company secretarial compliance matters.
Key to this role is previous experience with a FTSE 100 company. Ideally, you will also have a legal background or a chartered company secretarial qualification. Practical and functional company secretarial experience and the ability to lead on this is key. The role is highly visible to the Board and senior management and experience of working directly with senior management is also essential.
