The role

The firm has an exciting new vacancy for a Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join their modern City of London office.

You will work as part of a close-knit team of 12, you will support three Partners. You will get an excellent exposure to a broad range of work, making for a more interesting role. This is an excellent opportunity where you will not just receive excellent training in terms of technical knowledge, but you will be awarded a lot of client exposure and business development experience.

The commercial disputes team acts for a broad client base, including clients in the private sector (ranging from owner managed businesses to large national and multi-national companies and other professional services businesses), the public sector and third sector, as well as high net worth individuals.

Clients come from a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing, retail, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, sport and leisure, social housing, and insolvency, to name a few.

The types of matters in which the team is typically instructed include complex contractual disputes, professional negligence disputes, contentious insolvency matters, judicial reviews, and reputation management (privacy, defamation, and claims concerning confidential information).

You will get a high level of client contact and good support and career development.

This role comes with good prospects for career progression.


  • You will be NQ-3 years PQE
  • You will have sat at least one training seat in Commercial Litigation
  • A good work ethic is essential
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • It is essential that you have strong communication skills and the ability to build solid client relationships.
  • Salary is negotiable depending on your level of PQE plus an exceptional benefits package.
