Interventions Manager (Commercial Litigation) - London
A leading UK law firm with offices located throughout the country, is looking for an Interventions Manager to work within the Intervention team of their Commercial Litigation department. This is a permanent role based in London.
The role will involve the management of the team's paralegals who perform document review and other matters that may involve a diverse range of specialisms (e.g. immigration/employment/property). Other duties include the production of invoices and monthly reports.
You will need a solid, general paralegal background, with previous management duties (or the supervision of employees) and exemplary IT skills (in particular, Excel). You must have gained experience in a variety of specialisms, as the role will involve reviewing and advising paralegals. The role may involve duties relating to the disciplining or even dismissal of a poorly performing paralegal.
Applicants must have a solid academic background, including a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent), and a good understanding of client/office account ledgers, conveyancing, litigation and legal aid files and systems.
