EMPLOYMENT - 6 Month contract - London firm
We are working with an Internationally recognised London Law firm in their search for an Employment Lawyer to join them on a 6 month contract. The role is to start as soon as possible and has chance of being extended past the initial 6 month period.
The successful candidate will handle a caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters for Claimants and Respondents. Caseloads would include the following:
- Performance management
- Sickness absence
- Preparation and review of contracts of employment as well as staff handbooks
- TUPE issues
- Team moves
- Maternity and family friendly issues
- Disciplinary/grievance procedures
- Restrictive Covenants
- Discrimination cases
- Whistleblowing basis
- Management of employment tribunal and High Court claims
This role represents a superb opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a ranked employment team in handling a high calibre and varied caseload.
Candidates will have a strong employment law background gained in leading city practices or major regional firms.
