Construction Solicitor- Manchester
A construction lawyer is sought for a high calibre, Top 50, firm in Manchester.
This firm has an excellent reputation for their work generally, and their construction team is one of the best in the region.
The team has a broad practice covering both contentious and non-contentious construction matters and have an excellent reputation for their work on significant regional projects, particularly within energy and infrastructure matters. You'll be working for a wide range of clients including commercial developers, contractors, established sports teams and financial institutions.
Given the profile of the firm and the relatively exposed nature of the role the firm are looking for someone with proven experience (1+ years PQE), who is ambitious, and who is perhaps frustrated with being part of a larger team with limited avenues down which to progress. In this role you'll be able to enjoy raising your own professional profile both with clients and the broader market, and also internally within the firm.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to give technical yet practical advice, taking into account the commercial realities under which clients operate. Excellent communication skills are essential along with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
