As a result of expansion and growth across the Asia-Pacific region, our international law firm client is looking for passionate, curious and driven Associates to be a part of their market leading Banking & Projects team. Reporting to the Partners the successful applicants will be tasked with drafting and negotiating a wide range of facility documentation across all fields of banking and finance, such as leverage buy outs, acquisition financing, syndicated lending and structured trade finance.
Candidates should be common law qualified and have a strong academic pedigree and between 1-6yrs pqe gained with a top tier banking & finance practice, ideally acting for a range of borrowers and lenders, while also possessing hands on experience in the drafting & review of finance documentation. Familiarity with precedents and market standards is essential for this position while the successful candidate will be a capable communicator and very comfortable in a client facing position. Regional experience and language capability would be beneficial but not essential.
