We are representing one of the largest of the offshore law firms present in the Asia-Pacific region. Our client acts for a host of global corporations, financial institutions, capital markets participants, investment fund managers and high net worth individuals located throughout the region, with a particular focus on clients originating from Hong Kong, PRC, Japan, Australia, Taiwan and South Korea.

Their market leading contentious team specialises in all forms of dispute resolution (including shareholder and general corporate disputes), complex restructurings, contentious and non-contentious insolvencies and distressed situations, advising minority shareholders, trustees, stakeholders, creditors, debtors, private equity and hedge funds, and insolvency practitioners on a wide range of litigation and insolvency related matters.

In response to continued success and increased instruction, they now seek an additional lawyer (barristers or solicitor) with at least 5yrs PQE that has developed a range of first class experience to date either with a leading international law firm or top tier commercial chambers in London. With a strong corporate disputes and insolvency background, the successful applicant will become part of a dynamic, collegiate team acting for Asian clients primarily on matters pertaining to the BVI or Cayman Islands but also on a host of other complex, cross-border disputes. Previous exposure to offshore jurisdictions desirable but not essential, as are Chinese language skills.

Offering superb work, immediate responsibility and client contact plus a very attractive financial package, this opportunity would suit those looking for a new, exciting new challenge in a vibrant City such as Hong Kong.

To be considered for this and other assignments we are currently handling across the Asia Pacific region and multiple offshore jurisdictions, please send your CV in confidence to quoting the correct reference or apply directly through this website.
