Russell-Cooke is a top 100, London based law firm with over 200 highly-regarded specialist lawyers, working in departmental teams. We advise a mix of commercial, not-for-profit, regulatory and personal clients.
We are recruiting for our growing charity team. The team of 13 lawyers is one of the leading charity practices, highly rated by both Legal 500 and Chambers. Our clients include some of the most prominent fundraising charities as well as medium-sized and start-up charities.
We are looking for a senior solicitor, with approximately five or more years of experience working on charity governance and commercial matters.
The successful candidate will be outward looking, ambitious, have excellent technical and client handling skills and a track record of business development.
A client following is not essential but a network of contacts and connections would help demonstrate an understanding of and enthusiasm for the sector.
The candidate will be keen to develop their own practice and will be given the freedom and support to do so but they will also support the growth and development of the team by maintaining relationships with our existing clients.
The role is based in Putney, London with the opportunity to work from our Holborn office. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
Further information about the team can be found at: https://www.russell-cooke.co.uk/sectors/charities/
We have a diverse workforce and aim to attract high calibre applicants that reflect the demography of our geographical location and client base. Individuals will be employed solely on merit and the requirement of the position. No applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of sex, race, marital status, disability, age, sexual orientation or religion. Reasonable adjustments will be made to eliminate or reduce disadvantage.
We are not accepting submissions from agencies for this role
