THE ROLE
Within the firm's Commercial Technology and Data team for which you will need experience in the following areas (depending on level of PQE):
Commercial technology, including working with tech companies at all stages.
Consumer law advising ecommerce platforms.
Data protection
Corporate support and demonstrating project management will be important
Management/working with junior team members
Working with US companies desirable
The associate will be encouraged and supported actively to develop business and their own specialisms and client contacts and play a supporting role to the partners.
The role involves a high level of client contact and the associate will conduct client meetings and negotiations under the supervision of the partners.
ABOUT YOU
A team player, you will have developed excellent drafting skills and will be looking for the next step in your career.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have broad commercial technology experience working with companies at all stages and will be able to lead on advising on business models as well as the commercial risks associated with them.
UK qualified, you will have 4-7PQE in the UK preferably gained with a City law firm.
In house experience will also be looked upon favourably.
The firm is happy to consider candidates on an interim basis and those seeking flexible working arrangements.
The following experience/skills are essential:
Excellent analytical and drafting skills
A commercial focus
A proven track record in business development
A high level of client contact and previous responsibility for client files
Strong academics and technical ability
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
