A major Retail Group in the FMCG Sector is seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join the team in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
A leading FMCG Retail Group is seeking a commercial lawyer to join their tight-knit team as Legal Counsel based in their Head Office in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire during what is a key period of growth and positive change for both the legal function and Group as a whole.
The Group
The Group is a UK leader in the wholesale industry as well as operating a number of successful businesses in other areas. They have a small but highly experienced legal team which is seeking to expand with the business and would provide the ideal guidance for a junior commercial lawyer seeking to develop their experience and understanding of working closely with key stakeholders across a variety of commercial disciplines.
The Role
This is an ideal role for a commercial lawyer seeking to work closely with a growing Group, providing general commercial advice across numerous areas including:
· Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts;
· Advising on advertising and marketing matters;
· Intellectual Property;
· Regulatory matters, including tobacco and alcohol regulations; and
· Civil and commercial litigation.
The Person
The successful applicant will be an NQ-5 PQE lawyer with strong commercial experience, with some in-house experience being advantageous. Experience in all of the above is not crucial but you will be keen to build up your knowledge and exposure to work from all areas. You will have good commercial acumen, be interested in providing impactful advice to senior stakeholders and be seeking a varied role with the potential to progress.
This role is open to lawyers seeking part-time with a minimum of 3 days per week.
