2-6 PQE - Energy & Project Finance Associate – US Firm

Our client are a US headquartered firm with offices across the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia. Having started the London office over two decades ago, they have secured themselves as a household name for energy and project finance transactions globally. The London office of this highly rated team focus on transactions typically in emerging and frontier markets.

The Energy & Project Finance team in London are supported by a full service offering of top tier corporate, banking and disputes lawyers.


The successful candidate will be assisting a number of Partners on a range of both large and small energy and project finance transactions.

Transactions the team have worked on recently have ranged from sub-Sahara Africa power projects, through to Middle-Eastern oil & gas projects as well as a number of other mining, LNG and renewables projects.

Business development and getting close to the clients is encouraged at all levels within this team as is international travel where applicable.


You are likely to be between 2-6 PQE currently working with either a leading UK or US firm with a strong presence in the energy and project finance arena.

Ideally, you will have worked on a mix of both large project finance transactions as well as smaller ones, taking maximum responsibility where possible.

A thorough understanding of the various finance documents that go in to project finance transactions is important and good knowledge of the project/commercial documents is advantageous.
