We are working closely with a major international law firm that is keen to hear from accomplished and ambitious banking & finance lawyers for a challenging but rewarding opportunity at their market leading Moscow office. Appreciative as they are of the current geo-political climate, our client is aware that such an opportunity is not for everyone but are keen to engage with those lawyers that are open to a conversation about the scope of this role and its merits.
Instructed directly by the Head of Group, we are aware that candidates will ideally be admitted to practice in Australia, New Zealand or England & Wales and have at least 4 years PQE gained with a top tier global practice. Experienced across a range of banking & finance transactions, previous exposure to syndicated lending, trade/pre-export finance, real estate finance and restructuring matters would be beneficial as would regional experience (but this is not essential). Russian language ability is useful but again not essential for this position.
The successful applicant will join a friendly and collegiate team consisting of Western and Russian admitted lawyers and become involved in a range of interesting and diverse work spanning Russia & the CIS and numerous other Central and Eastern European locations, which will see you acting for a host of International & Russian banks in addition to numerous domestic and global corporates. Immediate client contact and responsibility for transactions is on offer which will see you work closely with colleagues both domestically and across international offices.
In return for your effort and commitment you will benefit from an attractive expat compensation package (attracting only 13% income tax) which includes a bonus, monthly housing allowance, gym membership and an annual return flight.
Those keen to learn more should send their CV in confidence to info@agnewobrien.com quoting the appropriate reference or apply directly through this website. Alternatively, please feel free to call James O’Brien in confidence for an initial conversation (+44(0)7391597131).
