CHARITIES LAW PARTNER
CENTRAL LONDON
Premier Boutique Law Firm
Ref: 13212
From c. £90k to £150k
Partner (or ambitious senior associate) sought by forward thinking, highly successful and growing law firm with a strong commitment to the charities and not-for-profit sector.
If you have established a strong practice at a firm that unfortunately has shown itself to have less enthusiasm for the sector, this is a great chance to join a firm that sees this area as a core part of the business. Alternatively, if you are one of many charities specialists within a larger department at your current firm, and you would like to assume more of a leading role as part of a smaller specialist team, this would be the perfect switch for you.
The Charities Practice:
Having a longstanding focus on not-for-profit and charities, the firm has developed a comprehensive legal services offering for these clients, covering both day-to-day operations and more significant activities. With the support of the corporate team, commercial/IP specialists and employment lawyers (and others) with charities-specific experience, you will be an integral part of a practice advising on establishing new charities, governance issues, regulatory matters, capital raising, joint ventures and collaboration agreements, reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, commercial contracting, data protection, reputation management and human resources issues. Whilst acting as a primary relationships holder for clients, your role will mainly revolve around the charities law specific needs of these organisations.
The charities practice has a varied client base that includes organisations concerned with scientific research, clinical study, medical care, promoting education, supporting the disabled and elderly, conservation, animal health and art heritage, amongst others.
The Firm:
The firm's charities offering fits very well with the overall firm. They have an impressive private wealth practice and strong corporate and commercial contracts teams acting for SMEs.
The partners and associates are committed to building lasting relationships with their clients, understanding their causes and challenges, and offering first rate support to help them to achieve their objectives. They are easy to get on with, and innovative in their approach. The firm benefits from strong leadership with a clear vision, and this has been key to the firm's highly successful growth over recent years.
If you feel you would thrive in a relaxed, supportive and entrepreneurial firm, with genuine commitment to your specialist area, this is the perfect move.
