As a multi-lateral development bank owned by 66 countries, the EU and the EIB, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has achieved a vast amount in its 25-year history. We support the growth of open, democratic markets and, ultimately, our work makes people’s lives better. This is your chance not only to be part of what we do, but to shape the way we do it.

As a transactional lawyer in EBRD’s legal department, you will have principal responsibility for a number of EBRD’s debt and equity transactions throughout EBRD’s countries of operations. You will advise on the legal structuring of such transactions, draft and negotiate the legal documentation and help carry out the EBRD’s policy mandate in the context of its operations.

With a law degree from a leading university, you have 3-5 years post-qualification practising experience gained at a top rated law firm working on English law governed financing agreements. You are confident drafting legal documents and negotiating them in English and capable of working independently and effectively in a multicultural environment.
